Hydromulch, also known as Hydroseeding, is a grass planting process that is fast, efficient and economical. Once applied to the soil, the material enhances initial growth by providing a microenvironment benefit to seed germination. This grass planting process is more effective than conventional seeding and certainly more economical than conventional sodding on large areas. Once the mixture has been sprayed, you can expect some growth within 7 days.
Reed Hydromulch, Inc. is certified as a women’s business enterprise through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. We recognize the commitment to supplier diversity that is embraced by corporations and government agencies today, and we can add diversity to your supply chain.

Hydromulching is the most cost effective option for establishing turf on larger projects. The process of hydromulching involves spraying a slurry mixture of water, fiber mulch, fertilizer and seed. There are multiple seed types available for hydromulch application but the most common here in North Texas is Bermuda grass seeding for full sun areas. The slurry is applied from Hydroseeder and is sprayed via hose(s). This makes hydromulching also beneficial for sloped areas and other areas with limited access for equipment. The ideal time of the year for the warm season turf grass seeding like Bermuda is during the Spring and Summer months. With warmer temperatures the seed starts to germinate with 7-14 days and you are off to a beautiful lush green lawn.
Some of the reasons to consider hydroseeding are:

Forestry Mulching & Brush Clearing
We provide a safe and responsible solution to clear lots, pastures, overgrowth, land, right of ways, fence lines, shooting lanes, food plots, commercial lots, as well as residential properties. This process eliminates the need to burn large piles proving to be a safer alternative. Skid Steer Mulching is the least damaging way to clean your property up without destroying it. Bulldozers and Metal Track Machines leave the ground demolished. This process leaves eco-friendly mulch behind to help benefit the soil.
