EarthGuard FM Fire Rehabilitation
EarthGuard Fiber Matrix (FM)
EarthGuard Fiber Matrix has been used on 1000's of acres for stabilization
and re-vegetation. Unlike other spray-on products, EarthGuard Fiber Matrix
offers the following advantages in fire rehabilitation situations:
- It is molecularly designed to bind
soil and ash particles together making the flocculated particles
too large to be transported by water or wind.
- It requires less fiber mulch
resulting in reduced aerial drops per acre.
- During application, EarthGuard Fiber
Matrix requires less water compared to other effective spray-on
products, resulting in reduced aerial drops per acre.
- It does not harden and prevent water
infiltration and seed emergence.
- It is field proven to be
environmentally benign during application and throughout field
service life.
- It is designed to last throughout a
winter season allowing seeds the time they need to properly
germinate and grow while maintaining soil stability.
- It is laboratory proven to be one of
the most effective products tested (CA & TX DOTs).
- It is approved for use by the
National Park Service, FHWA, BLM and over 20 State DOTs.
